Using this antibody, neogenin can be detected in mouse 3000 g liver fraction as a band of about 200 kDa. Liver microsomes give a weaker band, liver homogenate in 1% NP40 an even weaker band – see Figure.
Samples are livers from WT and Hjv-/- mice.
Mouse neogenin has 8 predicted glycosylation sites; following PNGaseF treatment, there is indeed a shift of roughly about 50 kDa.
In conclusion, although we did not have the oportunity to verify this antibody in Neo1-mutated mice, it seems reasonable to assume that the antibody indeed detects mouse neogenin.
